HYDE Irish Whiskey

The Hyde family has a long tradition of involvement in the drinks industry in Ireland; they were well-known tavern owners at 'Tinkers Cross' outside Bandon in West Cork, from 1640 to 1962. Here they sold Irish whiskey and draught Irish stout straight from wooden casks that they tapped by hand with a wooden mallet and a brass tap.The drinks business runs through 12 generations of the Hyde family tree. At one stage in 1916, their grandfather, grand-uncle and grand-aunt were all publicans in Bandon. Today, Alan and Conor Hyde are the first generation not to own a tavern, but they continue the family tradition by producing some of Ireland's finest whiskey.

McCormack Family Farms

A second-generation farming enterprise based in Co. Meath, McCormack Family Farms has been growing, packing and distributing fresh produce for nearly 40 years. Eddie McCormack started selling fresh produce on behalf of Warrenstown Agricultural Collage at the historic Dublin Fruit Market in Smithfield before he decided to grow his own. It all started in 1984 on a small field at the back of Eddie's house in Kiltale, a small rural community in Co. Meath. That year, Eddie became the very first commercial grower of iceberg lettuce and everything he did from then onwards was with one idea in mind: to grow locally what traditionally had been imported. Today, McCormack Family Farms are the largest grower of baby salad leaves in Ireland and also specialise in fresh cut herbs, microgreens and edible flowers to retail, foodservice, and manufacturing channels.

Newgrange Gold

Established in 2010 by John Rogers, Newgrange Gold is ran from the Rogers' family farm overlooking the historic and beautiful Boyne Valley in Co. Meath. John saw an opportunity to create a brand that connected the rich and ancient soils of the Boyne Valley and the high-quality food produced there. The birth of Newgrange Gold came from seeing oilseed rape grown on the Rogers farm leaving in trailers to the local merchant and from there, the seed was sown for the potential business opportunity on their doorstep. Today, Newgrange Gold sells a range of products including rapeseed oil, infused rapeseed oil with garden herbs, chilli & garlic, chilli & lemon, etc. with its products available in stores nationwide.
